Payroll Administrator – The Role
A competent Payroll Administrator with a track record in payroll processes is needed to join an established and well-regarded business at their Newton Abbot office. This is an exciting time to join a friendly firm and a great opportunity to take ownership of a range of payroll clients.
The Payroll Administrator will be working as part of the payroll team with responsibility for weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual payrolls, pensions auto enrolment and RTI. As well as the timely and accurate delivery of payroll and related client services, you will be responsible for recordkeeping, HMRC and client reporting.
Payroll Administrator – The Person
Payroll qualifications are not essential so long as you have the necessary practical experience including a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax codes, NI, auto enrolment and manual calculations. Experience of Sage Payroll is desirable.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a friendly telephone manner, you will be comfortable liaising with colleagues and third parties and enjoy working in a team environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise your own work load is essential.
Payroll Administrator – The Rewards
In return, this employer provides a friendly and professional working environment, a very competitive salary of £20,000 – £22,000pa doe, plus superb benefits as well as skills development.
Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday – Friday.
